| Dr. Kostas Blekos is an Associate Research Scientist at the Computation-based Science and Technology Research Center (CaSToRC) of The Cyprus Institute. He holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Computational Physics from the University of Patras. His research focuses on both the applied and mathematical foundations of quantum computing—including quantum complexity theory, quantum information, and the development of hybrid quantum-classical algorithms—alongside machine learning applications in the physical sciences. He has contributed to projects involving devising new quantum algorithms, quantum information technologies, advanced numerical simulations, and the development of computational tools, particularly within computational physics and nanomaterials science. | ||
