Maria joined the Cyprus Institute in May 2009, bringing with her extensive experience in accounting and administrative roles. She holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Nicosia and an MA in International Marketing from Sheffield Hallam University, UK. In addition, Maria earned her LCCI Accounting qualifications in 2000, is a Certified Employment Relations Officer, accredited by OEB HR Management and also attended the HR Management Programme from the Institute of Leadership and Management, UK.
In July 2017, following a successful recruitment process, Maria transitioned to the Human Resources Department as an HR Officer, and in November 2019, she was promoted to Senior HR Officer.
