Efi has a Bachelor degree in Pre-primary education from University of Nicosia, a Master degree in Educational Research from Lancaster University in England and an LCCI Higher Certificate in Accounting.
She had been working from 2011 until 2014 as an Accounting assistant in a Building Construction company and from 2015 until April of 2023 as an Accounts officer in an Investment company located in Nicosia.
