How to Find and Choose a Mobility?
Eligible Countries for Erasmus+ Mobilities
Students and staff must carry out their physical mobility activity in an EU Member State or a third country associated to the Programme or a third country not associated to the Programme different from the country of the sending organisation and the student’s / staff’s country of residence.
- EU Member States: Belgium, Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Ireland, Greece, Spain, France, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland, Sweden
- Third countries associated to the Programme: North Macedonia, Serbia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Türkiye
- Third countries not associated to the Programme*: visit the Erasmus+ website for a list of the countries.
* Please note that the budget for mobilities in countries not associated to the Programme is restricted, hence applications for such mobilities will not be given high priority. Check also the section on International Mobility for special projects supporting mobilities in specific countries not associated to the Programme.
Selection Process
- All applications are reviewed by the Erasmus Office and are evaluated by the Erasmus Committee in accordance with the selection criteria.
- Applications of certain merit that have not been selected for funding due to budget restrictions are inserted in a ranked reserve list. In case of cancellation of mobilities, the corresponding funding is awarded to applications from the reserve list accordingly.
- All applicants are notified through email about the outcome of their application, approximately a month after the deadline for applications.
- Successful applicants must follow the instructions sent by the Erasmus Office through email; failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the mobility.
Please read the section Before, During and After the Mobility for the procedure to be followed once an application for a mobility is approved.
